High level installation
A fragile and costly condenser needed to be installed high up on a mezzanine floor, very close to the roof beams of this factory. The job called for a forklift with a high mast, a long-reach jib and a slinging arrangement with very low headroom.
To make things worse, the lifting kit needed to pass under a low gantry to access the worksite.
Our solution was to create a custom made counterweight jib with a very shallow tip. We could then move the condenser into place with inches (suppose we'd better say centimetres now) to spare. The whole jib was detachable so we could quickly pass it under the mezzanine and re-assemble it.
